Did you purchase health insurance for the first time this year? Because of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), millions of uninsured Americans now have access to more affordable health care than ever before. If you're new to insurance, now is a good time to learn what to expect as a Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana (BCBSMT) member.
You will receive your insurance card through the mail soon after your application is approved. Your insurance card will have information on your plan, copays and how to contact us if you need assistance.

BCBSMT will pay your provider directly for covered services.
You will receive a bill for the amount you owe each billing period.
Here are some tips to help you keep your health care costs down:
Finally, if you haven't enrolled in a plan yet, it's not too late. Open Enrollment for 2014 coverage lasts until March 31. Visit BCBSMT to review plan options, get pricing, and enroll today.
